White Spot On My Dog's Nose

October 26

Ephemeris, an astronomical term that indicates the time when the sun sinks below the horizon. A legal term that indicates the time beyond which I can not carry passengers. At

ephemeris I was hovering at over 10 thousand feet, a few meters below the summit of the Marmolada to take two people who had stayed on the normal route or had been afraid of a cornice of snow. Apart from relief, finally on the glacier instead of the usual vertical impressive priest south, the scene with the sunset was just amazing. Red light that touched only the tops. Owl in the distance, and Pelmo Antelao. In the lowland fog that made it even darker than the valley floor.
If it were not for the strange wind that was bouncing around the helicopter might have been stopped as well, suspended in the air, to admire the setting sun to leave the Dolomites.

Mouth Lump After Stitches

The beginning

This is not exactly the beginning. The beginning was many years ago when I decided to want to fly. Passion for flying, fly to work, fly to live.
Seventeen years as a military pilot in the Army. Then a deep nausea and injustice that maybe in the future I will explain the decision to change.
Flying course and fly to the mountains.
And I also started doing mountain rescue with the help of the fantastic guys from the Mountain Rescue and in five years I have accumulated a long series of impressions ..... ... feelings, ideas which I think is a shame to be lost.

This blog, which comes in a quiet period of activity, serves this. To fix the days spent doing this work, a reminder of the meetings, people, feelings, everything that I can somehow stop.
